InCHOIRer placed first… runner-up in last Friday’s media choral competition held at Teatrino in Greenhills. (Congrats to Hannah and other members of GMA-7’s brilliant choir for bagging the top prize.) Our group won P100,000, huweee. Ang maganda pa nito, Hyundai, the competition’s sponsor, will donate the same amount to our chosen organization, Hands On Manila. Salamat sa Hyundai for this wonderful project

Ang saya, nanalo pa kami considering we only had about six rehearsals. Tapos nakumpleto lang kami the night before the contest ) Mahirap ma-achieve ang perfect attendance kasi maraming reporters sa amin, lagi silang nasa field.

Kaya naman ang tamis when judge Louie Ocampo said we were ”very excellent.” “The harmony, the costume, the choreography…are all good.”
Judges Kitchy Molina of Pinoy Dream Academy and singer Ivy Violan appreciated our all-Filipino repertoire. Bayani interviewed Ivy Violan yesterday and she said, ”We thought that after GMA 7’s performance, the contest was over. But after the InCHOIRer’s number, I got torn. Sumakit ang ulo namin.”
